PRE-LICENSED PSYCHOTHERAPIST (LPC, LSW) OR POST-DOCTORAL FELLOW

We are accepting applications for full-time (24+ client hours per week) clinicians. This is a W2 position.

The best fit for this position is someone looking to enhance their clinical skills, particularly in the use of psychodynamically-informed and relational approaches to case conceptualization and treatment, while also being open to integrating various interventions and strategies such as CBT, DBT, Narrative therapy, etc. when warranted. In addition to providing supervision towards independent licensure, we also offer training in the 'business' of private practice, allowing newer clinicians to gain confidence and an understanding of how to manage the unique situations that emerge in this treatment environment.

Our clinicians are psychodynamically-oriented but eclectic in practice. The group currently has a primary focus on adult clientele, but we welcome further expansion to other specialties, particularly child/family treatment and couple/marital therapy, as we seek to broaden our team’s expertise.

We encourage applications from candidates who identify as people of color, LGBTQIA+, or members of other marginalized groups, and we are committed to equity within our practice. We value work-life balance, and we support our clinicians in managing their caseloads in a way that works for themselves, their families, and their clients.

As a provisionally-licensed associate in our group, you can expect the following:

-Weekly supervision towards licensure with licensed supervisor

-Competitive compensation, including a monthly bonus when meeting contract terms

-Paid sick time/time off

-Healthy referral stream

-Ability to take up to 6 weeks unpaid vacation annually

-Brand new office suite with ample space availability

-Online record keeping and billing with user-friendly platform

-Practice both remotely and in person (some evening and/or weekend hours required)

-Regular group meetings/case review

-Marketing support, including a page on Psychology Today

-Several group dinners per year at popular Chicago restaurants

Please submit your resumé/CV and a cover letter to Kelly Berkheimer, Psy.D. and Kerrie Weber, LCPC at the link below. Start date is flexible, but we would like to hire as soon as possible.
